2024 Mazda CX-90 Trim Levels

Mazda CX-90 3.3 Turbo

The Mazda CX-90 3.3 Turbo comes with five different trim models:

CX-90 3.3 Turbo Select

The Turbo Select trim, which is the base model, starts at an MSRP of around $41,000. It accommodates up to eight passengers and offers an eight-way power driver’s seat, push-button start, keyless entry, automatic climate control, a cowhide tiller, paddle shifters, and leatherette upholstery. It also comes with a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability, and an eight-speaker audio system. 

The Turbo Select may be the entry-level trim of the CX-90, but it comes with premium features, such as a black-finish honeycomb front grille, black exterior trim, rain-sensing wipers, automatic on/off LED headlights, roof rails, a power liftgate, and 19-inch alloy wheels. 

CX-90 3.3 Turbo Preferred

Starting at around $45,000, the CX-90 Turbo Preferred trim is available in a seven-seat configuration with a bench seat for the third row and captain’s chairs for the second row. It has the same standard features as the base model but gains a greige or black cowhide upholstery, a power moonroof, a power passenger seat, heated front seats, retractable second-row window shades, and six USB-C charging points. 

CX-90 3.3 Turbo Preferred Plus

This trim level adds new Mi-Drive driving modes, including Towing, Off-Road, and Sport. It also adds wireless smartphone connectivity and a head-up display. When properly equipped, the Preferred Plus has a towing capacity of around 5,000 pounds. This variant has a starting MSRP of $47,275.

CX-90 3.3 Turbo Premium

Starting at $50,275, the CX-90 Turbo Premium trim offers a seven-seat cabin with a hands-free liftgate, a panoramic sunroof, 21-inch alloy wheels, chrome exterior trim, and second-row captain’s chairs. Other upgrades include a SiriusXM satellite radio, ambient lighting, driver seat memory settings, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system. 

CX-90 3.3 Turbo Premium Plus

This trim model starts at around $51,650 and offers white or black nappa leather upholstery, heated second-row seats, ventilated front seats, a heated tiller, touch controls for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a windshield wiper de-icer, and auto-dimming door mirrors. 

Mazda CX-90 3.3 Turbo S

The all-new Mazda CX-90 3.3 Turbo S comes in three different three variants, including:

CX-90 3.3 Turbo S

The Turbo S, which is the base model, starts at around $53,000 and is available in two configurations: 

• A six-seater with captain’s chairs in the second-row seat.
• A seven-seater with bench seats in the second row and a two-seat third row. 

The Turbo S comes with 21-inch machine-finish allow wheels, body-color wheel arches, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, adaptive front lights, and standard features from the Turbo Premium Plus variant. 

CX-90 3.3 Turbo S Premium

Starting at around $58,000, the Mazda CX-90 3.3 Turbo S Premium trim offers a driver personalization system that recognizes your face using facial scanning and memorizes your desired vehicle settings. The Turbo S Premium trim also comes with six seats with second-row captain’s chairs. Standard features include white or black nappa leather, automatic folding and dimming side mirrors, and a telescoping and tilt steering wheel with memory settings. 

CX-90 3.3 Turbo S Premium Plus

The CX-90 3.3 Turbo S Premium trim starts at around $61,000. The upgrades here are a maple wood trim, a suede interior trim, quilted nappa leather upholstery, front- and second-row ventilated seats, second-row captain’s chairs, upgraded ambient lighting, and a two-tone leather steering wheel. 

Mazda CX-90 PHEV

The Mazda CX-90 PHEV is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that comes in three configurations. These include:

CX-90 PHEV Preferred

Starting at around $48,820, the base CX-90 PHEV Preferred features an electric vehicle drive mode that allows the vehicle to run on electric power. It also comes with a seven- or eight-seat cabin and has the standard features of the Turbo Preferred model. 

CX-90 PHEV Premium

This trim starts at around $54,200 and comes with a seven-seat cabin. It also has a towing drive mode that provides you with around 3,500 pounds of towing capacity. The PHEV Premium’s standard features include 21-inch wheels, a power sunroof, wireless smartphone charging, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.

CX-90 PHEV Premium Plus

The top-of-the-line plug-in hybrid is the Premium Plus, which retails at around $58,300. This variant comes with heated second-row seats, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch infotainment touch screen, ventilated front seats, and white or black nappa leather upholstery. 

Engine Features

The base model of the new CX-90 comes with a turbocharged 3.3-liter inline-six engine connected to a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The standard 3.3 Turbo engine, which is available in lower trims, generates around 332 lb-ft of torque and 280 horsepower. The high-output 3.3 Turbo engine (Mazda’s most powerful engine to date), on the other hand, is available in higher trims and generates around 369 lb-ft of torque and 340 horsepower, delivering an even more rewarding drive. Both engine variations come with a mild hybrid component that boosts the vehicle’s efficiency while generating greater responsiveness and low-end torque.
