The 2021 Mazda CX-3 is only offered in one trim: Sport. However, it has features usually only found on top-tier vehicles. Blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, adaptive LED headlights, a heads-up display, and day-and-night pedestrian detection are just a few of the features the2021 CX-3 Sport has that the base 2021 C-HR LE doesn’t.
The 2021 CX-3 doesn’t just have a better feature load, it also has a better powertrain. The 2.0L four-cylinder is the same one found in the iconic MX-5 Miata and the Mazda3 2.0 S. It produces more horsepower and torque than the C-HR engine. Not only that, but it’s paired to the signature Mazda six-speed automatic transmission, known for its quick and reactive shifting. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s one final nail in the coffin: AWD. That’s right. The 2021 CX-3 is offered in both FWD and AWD. The C-HR, no matter which trim you choose, is only available in FWD.
