The all-new 2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo is here! It combines the sleek design and features of the base powertrain CX-30 with the turbocharged 2.5L SKYACTIV-G engine popularized by the CX-5 and the CX-9. Spoiler alert: the result is great. See for yourself.
Today, we’ll compare the 2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo Premium and Turbo Premium Plus trims. Both models have lots of excellent features, but there are few that set each apart. Take a look.
The 2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo namesake is a powerful 2.5L turbo-four engine. When using premium fuel, the engine produces 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. Otherwise, it’s rated at 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Every CX-30 Turbo vehicle has standard AWD; FWD is unavailable. The Turbo Premium and Turbo Premium Plus have all the features from the Turbo model and then some. That includes a moonroof, heated front seats, an eight-way power adjustable driver’s seats with memory settings, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and lane departure warning, among others.
The 2021 CX-30 Turbo Premium has all the same features as the non-turbocharged Premium model. That means the Turbo Premium has GPS-linked navigation, adaptive headlights, genuine leather upholstery, a power liftgate, a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system, SiriusXM satellite radio, a heads-up display, and paddle shifters.
The 2021 CX-30 Turbo Premium Plus adds a few premium driver assistive features. The new additions include smart brake support rear, a surround-view parking camera system, traffic jam assist, and front and rear parking sensors.
