The 2020 Mazda 3 Hatchback comes in three trims: Base, Preferred, and Premium. The Mazda3 Hatchback also comes with the 186-horsepower 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard; however, a six-speed manual is available on the Premium trim. All three trims come standard with FWD and have AWD as an available option. The FWD models are rated for 26-city/35-highway MPG. AWD options are estimated to get 24-city/32-highway MPG.
The Mazda3 Hatchback has many standard features. Included on each model is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, Bluetooth connectivity, an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, HD radio, two USB ports, push-button start, and proximity keyless entry. It also features synthetic leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Preferred trim adds a satellite radio, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, and heated front seats. The Premium trims gets a moonroof and leather-trimmed sports seats.
The 2020 Mazda3 Hatchback has even more standard safety features than its Sedan variant. Forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning with lane-keep assist, and stop-and-go adaptive cruise control are all standard. Automatic high beams, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a rearview camera, and a driver attention monitoring system are also standard. The Premium trim adds adaptive headlights and a heads-up display.
