The base level CX-5 2.5 S Select features a Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter 16-valve, four-cylinder engine that delivers 187 hp and 185 lb-ft of torque. At this trim level, you’ll enjoy a standard suite of driver-assist features including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear cross-traffic detection, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, and a blind-spot monitor. The Select has rain-sensing windshield wipers, tinted rear privacy glass, auto-leveling LED headlights, and 17-inch gray metallic alloy wheels.

The luxurious interior includes faux leather upholstery, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. You can customize your comfort with a six-way power adjustable driver’s seat with manual lumbar support and six-way manual front passenger’s seat. 2.5 S Preferred

The 2.5 C Preferred has the same engine, wheels, and technology as the Select with a few enticing additions. The interior gets an upgrade with leather upholstery, a power moonroof, a six-way power adjustable passenger’s seat, and an eight-way adjustable power driver’s seat complete with two-way lumber support. A power liftgate provides added convenience.

2.5 S Carbon Edition

The 2.5 S Carbon Edition mirrors the performance and interior comforts of the Preferred with some enhanced styling features. This trim is available exclusively in Polymetal Gray Metallic paint. The Carbon Edition has 19-inch black metallic alloy wheels, black badges, and black mirror caps. Inside, you’ll find a sleek black interior door and panel trim. On this trim, you’ll upgrade from the six-speaker audio system included at the lower trim levels to a Bose 10-speaker surround sound system.

2.5 S Premium

With the 2024 Mazda CX-5 2.5 S Premium, you’ll get access to Mazda Intelligent Drive Select with a suite of drive modes including Normal, Sport, and Off-Road. Sport mode provides greater responsiveness and quicker acceleration so you can speed about the highway and change lanes with ease. Off-road mode facilitates more rugged adventures in mud, sand, and deep snow by preventing the drive wheel from spinning.

The 4.6-inch multi-information display that’s standard on the lower trim levels grows to 7 inches in the Premium. You’ll find that the steering wheel has a set of paddle shifters and the side mirrors are now heated. The Premium also includes steering adaptive headlights and 19-inch alloy wheels.

2.5 S Premium Plus

The CX-5 2.5 Premium Plus enhances comfort with features such as heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto go wireless at this level. You’ll enjoy a wireless phone charger with the Premium Plus trim as well. A head-up display puts all the vehicle’s relevant information on the windshield so you don’t have to tear your eyes away from the road. Windshield wiper de-icers and automatic power-folding side mirrors are added perks with this trim, too.

2.5 Carbon Turbo

The power and driving experience of the 2024 CX-5 get a big boost at the Carbon Turbo trim where you’ll upgrade to a turbocharged 2.5-liter SKYACTIV-G engine with dynamic pressure Turbo. This engine delivers 227 hp with regular 87-octane or 256 hp with 93-octane gas. You’ll also get a strong 320 lb-ft of torque with this setup.

Aesthetic perks include terracotta leather-trimmed seats with soft suede inserts and a black headliner. The Carbon Turbo trim is available only in Rhodium White Metallic or Zircon Sand Metallic. The rocker moldings, front grille, bumper trim, and wheel arches are all gloss black to perfectly complement these hues. You also get a black signature wing and black heated power side mirrors complete with LED turn signal indicators.

Though the Carbon Turbo retains most of the features of the Premium Plus trim, it does not include the windshield wiper de-icer, power-folding side mirrors, or heated rear seats.

2.5 Turbo Premium

The Turbo Premium trim offers the perfect blend of the Premium Plus’s comforts with the Carbon Turbo’s engine. The power-folding side mirrors, windshield wiper de-icer, and heated rear seats return with this trim. The sleek interior features black leather-trimmed seats with red stitching. The leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear selector feature red stitching as well. The 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels have a striking black finish.

The Turbo Premium trim comes with Traffic Jam Assist, which is a handy feature if you experience a lot of bumper-to-bumper traffic in your rush hour commute. This system maintains a constant speed and consistent distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead. Traffic Jam Assist also provides steering assistance to keep the vehicle within the lane lines or along the motion path of the vehicle ahead. This feature helps reduce driver fatigue in congested traffic, streamlining the travel experience.

2.5 Turbo Signature

As the top trim level, the CX-5 2.5 Turbo Signature features stunning aesthetics and functionality. You’ll enjoy an enhanced front grille design and bright exterior trim. The wheel arches, lower bumper, and rocker moldings are all body-colored, and the 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels have a striking silver finish. The heated power side mirrors feature aluminum silver trim to further enhance the exterior appearance.

Inside the cabin, you’ll find Caturra Brown nappa leather-trimmed seats with a black headliner, real wood trim, and ambient interior lighting.
